Well anywayyyyy, I certainly thank all who have contributed to my OP and it is great to hear all comments. Im looking for the negative too. When time comes for replacing tires on my daughters car, there are about 4 different tires to consider(as my high choices) and maybe 5 by the time we're actually ready to buy. I will keep her best interest as her father. I'd like to close this thread as it is turing out to be something other than what it's supposed to be and I'd like to move on before thing could get out of hand. I have even stayed abit off topic in some of my replys.

Thank you all again,

CharBaby

I have G/Y Assurance Comfort Tread "T" on my wifes car and their fine for her car. A little pricey for my daughter's car ($113.00/tire) for a G/Y especially with the 35 years of experience with G/Y's. I just don't care for them overall. Im really looking for quality and I have never really gotten it with G/Y. Can't balance em' and I always get radial pull along with broken belts with alot of poor tirestore relations(not wanting to cover the tire. I have had much better success with other brands. I have found tires at a much better price(under 90.00/tire). Yoko Avid TRZ, Pirelli P4, the Kumhos that started this thread, General Altimax, Handkook Optimo H727). Just better rated and as I mentioned, not great luck with G/Y's

What's pretty good luck? It depends what your standards are!

Alot of people do have good succuss with G/Y. Everyone has their favorite products or at least products that they don't have bad luck with.

For example, I have bad luck at SEARS, with just about everything except clothing even though their products are made by companies that make products that I have good succuss with:

Tools-Break them
Lawn Mowers-Break them
Kitchen Appliences-They break

It's just that way sometimes, so we move on and try something else. My in-laws have the best luck with the lowest rated products. Lowest rated by many consumer mag's either for performance or value...They love'em and have great luck with stuff I wouldn't touch with a 10' poll!
