Kreen safe for turbo?

Id probably do it but use a LOT of sequential oil changes. First application Id probably just idle it to get oil flowing and heat in there, then drain out, repeat for a short interval, etc.

You can also put in a small amount of Kreen to start and see how it goes.

OK so I got the car running. Put some Olympus 10w-30 in with about two cups of Kreen. Let the car idle for an hour, drove it about a mile (never going above 2500 RPM), then let it sit overnight. Fired it up, let it idle about 15 minutes then drained the oil and changed the oil filter. The oil didn't look very bad at all to be honest. A little golden-brown, but certainly not as black as the stuff that originally came out before the head was put back together. I filled it back up with Olympus 10w-30 and a bottle of Auto-RX w/ a new Mann W917 filter. I plan on doing about 1500 miles and switching to a full synthetic.

You could also consider replacing the return line in the turbo. That is done when it replaced. I realize you have not replaced it, but its one place likely to be in really bad shape due to the heat coming off the turbo.

I actually replaced both oil lines and coolant lines running to/from the turbo. Turbo was completely rebuilt.

Thanks! Having some problems with the air pump throwing a CEL but the car drives smooth.
