Off a customers car. Approximately 2k miles on M1 5w20 and 2 years on. It took quite a bit of effort to remove it, hence the damaged can.

Replaced with Valvoline 5w20 and Napa Proformer 21348MP which is China made.

Looks like the filter could have stayed. Maybe the oil too. But I understand.

You gonna inspect the pleats for metal or other contaminants? Of course that requires cutting open the filter carefully to avoid contaminating it.

Literally looks brand new. Use it 3x oil changes

Louvers look good. Hard to really tell but it looks like there may be some ridges on the leaf spring. Thanks for the C&P.

Bypass valve is in the leaf spring, seen in the first photo.

Only changed because I was asked to while performing other work. Car is a 2006.

I pryed thru some of the pleats, found nothing. I felt no need to wick for days and cut out.
