Kmarts Website

[Yup]

Does anyone else find that Kmarts website is AWFUL when searching for oil? I know my local store has oil, but online when I search it rarely shows that it exists there. They have some good sales here and there but when you can't search for them why would I go there? No wonder they're going broke.

Partnering with Sears sure didn't help. That is like standing in a bucket and trying to lift it by the handle if I may steal a Churchill quote.

Why would that be a surprise, given the magnitude of Kmart's downfall? They've had a sales plunge of somewhere around 70% since 2000. Both the Kmart and Sears brands have been in an asset strip for the last few years, and even Sears Holdings management (and I use the work management loosely) wouldn't sink money into an effective website while they're working to extract the last vestiges of value from both Kmart and Sears.

That's what I was going to say. Ours closed and they tore it down to build a new Hobby Lobby and Fresh Thyme. Sports Authority also moved into the same shopping center, but that didn't go as well.

The one near me was open and was a "Big K mart". They screwed up leasing and ended up shutting down. There's one near my work, but the new Wal Mart there and a coming soon Walgreens will put that little K Mart out soon I feel
