I need new wipers for my truck. I saw the Kleenview brand at AAP yesterday, they are about $5.00 less than the Rain-X Weatherbeater blades. I have never heard of Kleenview before. I searched here and online and can not find much info on the Kleenview blades. Has anyone here used them? Are they any good, how is the performance? Any noise, streaking, poor performance, etc? They look to be OK, they have a metal frame instead of plastic frames like the Rain-X blade. The Kleenview has only 6 claws holding the wiper to the frame, and the Rain-X has 8. I wonder if that would make a difference.

I tried to find out on my own, there is not much out there on these blades. AAP has reviews on their Website, but AAP is trying to sell wiper blades, so naturally most all of their reviews will be positive. I have been using a set of Bosch Micro Edge for a year now, they are streaking, so I need new blades.

Thanks for the help.

Bosh icon rulez. I used to have pair, my dad has pair for over 3 years already, and they still wipe very good. But they are pricey

Thanks for the replies. I thought about it and I will use the Rain X Weatherbeater blades. I figure the cheaper Kleenview is cheap for a reason. I have used Rain X blades before with no problems.

AAP does not sell the Bosch Micro Edge now, otherwise I would get another set of those. They held up pretty well. I can get a pair or Rain X blades and a few other things I need, use an online discount code, pay $27.25 for all of it and pick it up at the store just up the street form my house. I think that is a pretty good deal.

I just wait for rebates on Bosch. We run the ICON in the winter (won't clog with ice) and the Micro Edge Excel the rest of the year (better wipe).

They are metal. That was my mistake. I looked at them at AAP the other day and thought they loked like plastic or some kind of fiber. Not sure why I thought that.

I used to run the Icons, but I DID notice a definite quality/longevity difference when they switched their manufaturing from Belgium to China. ;(
