Killing one robin

Live trap the little critter and have a talk with him/her. Convince the squirrel that your neighbors balcony is a more suitable place for it to stash chow. Then release the creature and show how your sensitivity has now spread to other animals in the habitat.

It's just misunderstood.

I was thinking the opposite: catch him, threaten him and scare him real good, then release him, so he'll tell his pals there's a bad man over here, and they should stay away.

Yesterday morning we went to HD, to find some owls.

Eventually we found them - $14.97 Heavy-duty owls... Why they are heavy duty, I dont know, but that is what it is called.

We bought two... watched while home all day - no robin.

Moved them again today, the fiancee washed the cars, as she was off... at the end of the day, not one drop of #2.

Seems that our heavy duty owls are doing the trick!

I have plenty of places to put them, and with two, it makes the switching around that much more obvious, because the cars are watched from two sides.

So hopefully things will be safe. We never had a problem like this last year - hopefully after this season the robin will be gone, and the cars safe!

Thanks!

The robin will be back with reinforcements. The red squadron will take out the heavy duty owl while the orange squadron will redecorate all windows and cars.

" Will said ' I wish I knew what the #@$%! you wanted.'

'In the long view,' the fox said, 'I want what every animal wants in its heart-except maybe for the dogs- I want your species gone. To the stars, if you can get there. To rot and ruin, more likely. We don't care. We just want you out of our fur.'"

Well I have two heavy-duty owls, and a cover on one of the cars, so itll be a tougher fight.

But first thing tomorrow, Ill be reinforcing my heavy duty owls with some heavy duty concrete in their bases, to make them even tougher to defeat!

I suppose you could employ your guerilla forces (neighborhood kids will do), armed with high pressure garden hoses, and give that robin a wet welcome he won't forget. Maybe have a sniper with a Super Soaker lie in wait in the treetops. A Nerf SFU (Strike Force Unit) might be effective.

I and two friends have as many as 6!!!! owls under the party top of our houseboats. Total waste of effort. BB gun and Get 'er done instead of all this whineing and wringing of hands.
