Killing one robin

So, my visitor is a raven. There are two of them and they have a nest in one of the big trees in my yard. There is no one around to bother them. As far as noises go they make a lot of different sounds. One of them makes sounds like a dove and I know that they eat the babies out of the nests each spring. I cook up pork ribs for my there dogs and I've seen them fly off with one every now and then. They are kind of noisy but calm down at night and are entertaining to watch. I guess with these two characters we won't have any problems with wayward robins.
If there are two, best find out if their names are Hugin and Munin. And keep an eye out for a tall, one-eyed man wearing a dark hooded cloak.
The crows/ravens down here call "fark"...honest they do.

A funny memory from my youth is that of people who had never heard a Whippoorwill at night.
You could try one of those plastic owl statues (a little over 1 foot tall). I got one at the local hardware store because we had a birds pooping on wife's van problem. It seems to help. You move the statue around from time to time so the birds don't get aclimated to it.
LOL....I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the photo with the sheets of paper on the garage door windows.
One thing about fake owls...if you do not move it at least once a week, the birds will catch on and know it is a fake.
A plant that I frequent placed several hundreds of dollars of owls around the property a few years ago. They worked for a week or so, and now the birds sit on their heads and really give them what-for!

Well, they help to keep the robin from flying into the garage windows...
But it would stink to have to tape paper to the car windows all the time!

I have a BB gun for hire. I can be there is about two days. I'm locked and loaded.
I'm gonna laugh when he aims at the bird and misses ,shooting the car

On that note - I have a red dragonfly that likes to sit on my car's antenna for hours on end. It does poo but it is not .1% as bad as as that bird so I tolerate it.
I've read that dragonflys can reach speeds up to 60 mph. They only get to hit a window once.....

This thread is a riot! Not that I don't have concern for your vehicles and windows JMH, it's just funny, especially the picture.
I feel your pain. We have flickers ALL OVER that sound like gigantic woodpeckers on the gutters every morning. Drives me insane. I resorted to the BB gun tactic as my nighbor has a fake owl; the flickers aren't fazed one bit by it.

Tape some sticky flypaper to the roof of the car. Maybe the robin will get stuck in it.
Or make a noise like a girl robin and get him to follow you into the next county.

Hire an animal psychologist. They'll observe the animal and tell you what it needs and why this decompensation is taking place on YOUR cars. Maybe you just need to be more sensitive. This "acting out" may just be a plea for help.
Im pretty annoyed at the squirrels lately. Or maybe one in particular. I have a big half-barrel on my deck which my ex left full of soil. After 3 years, I finally pulled up the dying herbs and junk she left and planted giant sunflowers and some other things that are supposed to attract butterflies. Unfortunately, the squirrel has used the barrel as a depot for the peanuts people feed them and so, each morning, he digs around looking for them. So far, my seedlings are still okay, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he destroys them.
I won't poison him, or shoot him, and he seems unmoved by my threats of physical violence, so either I talk the crows into taking care of him, or get used to a mess in my barrel.
