Not for a long while. The fairgrounds that I used to go to got turned into a mall.

My racing associates have run sprints in the past ..and my daughter's boyfriend's uncle (too many loose associations there) currently runs one. The boyfriend helps with the grunt work.

The one that sprintman is referring (IIRC) to was that scientists determined the spawning grounds of the Orange Roughy, and that nearly the entire East Coast of Australia spawns on a particular area.

South Africans positioned themselves to take a bumper "harvest" at exactly the right time and place.

Were found and chased by Oz Coast Guard, but took untold generations of fish.

I think that it's teaching us NOW that many a smacked____ movie maker were actually futurists with uncanny insight.

I recall leaving Booth Bay Harbor, Maine..in a 6 man boat (about a 30ft boat w/100hp diesel capt and mate)..for $100 for the day ..and coming home with 600-900lb of Cod. 300lb was a bad day. Not in the realm of "sport fishing" ..but..

Just two years...but by the time they figure that out ..some other influence will make that action useless. Sometimes you understand "postal". It's the frustration of things that must be done..but never seem to get done soon enough.

Those guys were crazy. Buncha guys in an open rowboat. Guy in front sticks a harpoon with a 3/4" rope attached into a whale. Which wasnt an instant kill, it just ____ off the whale.. If whaling had kept on like that, whalers would be extinct
