Kendall semi syn blend info correct??

Is this info correct on the COP kendall website for Kendall GT-1® Synthetic Blend Motor Oilª.

Kendall® GT-1 Synthetic Blend Motor Oil is a premium quality,
part-synthetic engine oil designed for use in older, high-mileage
vehicles.
GT-1 Synthetic Blend Motor Oil is formulated to provide
enhanced protection against viscosity breakdown and the
formation of sludge and varnish compared with conventional
engine oils. It also provides excellent wear protection and
protects against rust and corrosion. The combination of high oil
viscosity plus low volatility at high temperatures helps reduce
leaks and oil consumption compared with lower viscosity,

Is this a mistake on the website or is this stuff for older cars??? Because they also have a kendall gt-1 high mileage syn blend...thanks everyone...

You give us info on the High Mileage Syn Blend, and ask if that's correct because they also have a High Mileage Syn Blend?

Huh? As far as I can see, the only High Mileage oil they produce is the blend.

There was another thread about Motorcraft now having a high mileage version. I'm sure the Kendall is that oil.

Just to let everyone know... spoke to Ted from Houston,TX. at COP HQ Tech advisement. And he said that Kendall/COP considers the Kendall® GT-1 High Performance Synthetic Blend Motor Oil to be the "almost the same" as the:
Conoco Super All Season Synthetic Blend Motor Oil
Phlipps 66 TropArtic® Synthetic Blend Motor Oil
76 Super Synthetic Blend Motor Oil

I checked the spec sheets on all FOUR and they are close to identical... In addition he said that the confusion with the GT-1 Sythetic Blend is that it is only available in a 10w-50 and it is for one or two certain cars that call for it and older car applications or some racing apps..

He said that the GT-1 High Perf. Syn Blend is what is supposed to be used in todays modern cars that call for the ILSAC GF-4 , which is what you should get at most Firestone auto centers, bulk dealerships , etc...
