I have used Kendall for a long time and emailed Phillip 66 about NOACK. While they won't give the exact #s they did assure me it lives below 10% for 5W30. I also order from www.kendallmotoroils.com with free shipping. Also at my door in two days.

Not too shabby…

Wish it were more available in stores. They seem to be making their oils for bulk supply intended for dealerships, quick oil change shops and other mechanic shops.

Yeah. Tech support told me their money comes from no marketing, not paying shelve space and relying on 145 years of just a solid oil for mechanics. He also said they are pretty big (Phillip 66) with the Aviation community, Trucking, construction and Farmers. Something nice about relying on 145 years of a solid product and letting results speak for themselves.

Kendall 5w-30 full synthetic is a decent oil, so is Phillips shield 5w-30 & Redline Professional 5w-30,, all the same oil ,and Motorcraft possibly the same stuff (Conoco-Phillips) but worth using,,,,Kendall is a apparently a trade mark brand and was in 145 years in business,, many brands that used to be a big name have been bought out sold etc ,but still retain the same brand name for customers that recognize it because it's what they feel is best for their thoughts.

Schaeffer's is another that let's their reputation speak for themselves. I still use Schaeffer's in my Vortech supercharged mustang.

They won’t give you an exact answer because it’s a different formulation depending on where you’re at in the U.S.

It’s a Shame P66 can never get out of their own way in terms of marketing Kendall products.

Kendall GT1 Max and Redline Professional are the same.

Motorcraft is not the same as those two. Nor is P66 Shield products. Motorcraft is Ford’s formula, exclusive to them, simply produced by P66. It’s even a separate distributor contract.

Honda Genuine motor oils (Non-Motorcycle) and P66 Shield (Choice & Armor, depending on syn blend vs full syn) are the same product. And these fall under the P66 distributor agreement. However, a P66 distributor with a Honda contract, cannot sell Honda branded oils to non-Honda dealerships.

Idemitsu still producers Honda Motorcycle oils and a lot of the miscellaneous products for Honda. Just not the automotive engine oils.

I'm not going to call them to ask why they never put their oils on a promotion that draws BITOG members.

Amsoil and HPL Spread The News!

Not sure why you’re bringing this up?! A bit strange honestly. I mentioned I used Schaeffers oil in the mustang and whatever your interpretation is, that's a mystery 😴

Brought it up in case any was interested.

They do market very heavy to shops. They are in the bulk business not individuals.

Obvious interest in a Schaeffers purchase someday..... when / if it becomes available at a better price and/or free shipping. Red Line is another boutique that interests me. I have-yet to see a promo with either.

Perhaps both places need to hire their own versions of someone like Foxtrot, who gathers and generates brand interest here.

What? You mean telling everyone how their entire marketing department quit or retired is brand interest? And how their leadership on the lubricants side is retiring, inspires confidence?

I’m confused.

Who said quit? Retiring?
