My first sample sent to Polaris - I also included my last sample sent to Blackstone - both samples 5000 miles.

Wear metals look good (do we really believe aluminum was ZERO?) and they continue to trend down over time as is silicon. Not sure what to think about fuel dilution as I don't believe it's an issue with the 5.7L V8 but will say this sample was taken cold.

I have 0W20 Castrol Edge EP in there now.

Would anyone try and go 10K here? Any comments are appreciated, thanks!

the 5.7 has a seq fuel injection fuel dilution is no worry.. what does the manual say for oil change intervals? most toyota's go 10k i would say if your towing, idling or driving dusty dirt roads then follow a severe oil change interval. kendall is good oil but i would stick with mobil 1 or castrol edge for 10k runs

Manual recommends 10k mile OCIs. My truck leads a very easy life. No idling or traffic or towing. Easy 35-45mph country roads to and from work - 8 miles each way. Highway driving a couple times per week.

you can easily get 10k i'd stick with the OE filter and mobil 1 advanced fuel economy or castrol edge
