Keeping with factory warranty terms

Maybe you need to find another Honda dealer? I can watch 'em if I want to. It's express service where you just drive thru. They don't have to put my car on a lift,so they can't drop it. Lol.

The car in question is a nissan. But I prefer to work on my cars if I can. I can do most repairs including major ones.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. As much as warranty work goes, most of the cases can be determined easily if you voided the warranty by checking if the failure is oil related. If it is oil related, you don't want to be caught lying about it (at least intentionally). Lying is the thing that can totally throw your credit off in a court case.

You probably have other cars that you do oil change with, so why not use the oil receipt from those? You can also do your own paper work electronically. While it is valid, they have to find evidence that you intentionally modify or fake the records, so they usually would give up on that.

Most people who bother to keep a record really change their oil or keep the car maintenance up, and dealers/manufactures don't usually give them a hard time.

If you noticed I discovered that 7500 is a recommended interval in addition to the 3750, I will be changing every 7500 with records of course.

i did castrol gtx 3750 oci for my maxima. planned on switching to Mobil 1 at 20k, but some free gtx, i waited until 30k. now with syn my oci is 7500. I was going to point out the 3750/7500, but you have found that out already.

besides, Mobil 1 Extended Performance provides a warranty if Nissan "tries" to deny a claim. Most suggest dino for atleast 10k maybe 20k so really break it in before syn. but of course some suggest syn since new.

I also did a 1000 initial change.
