Regarding the vibration problem, you don't say how many years and miles you have on the front tires. Maybe one has a belt or ply separation that you can't see. If they're 6+ years old, I'd replace them.
In my opinion, $4,000 for a 13 year old Vibe is crazy high. I'd fix the Solara.
