The media has no oil smell at all.
Absolutely no excess glue.
The sticker got caught up in my cutter wheel. Other than that..stellar

I don't know what topic filter goes for, but Super Tech MP series also with silicone adbv goes for ~$6.00. Based on appearance, 'I'm' thinking, same filters.

I got these direct from K&N a few years ago for buy one get one free and free shipping.
The bad part is they listed this filter for an application it did not fit.
I just kept them anyway.

Definitely looks like a Champ labs filter, basically a SuperTech MP clone. I'd love to find one like that which fits the ST16 size on my Jeep, but they don't make an MP16. My Jeep sees low mileage, so I usually only change the filter once a year, and would prefer a silicone ADBV, which the ST16 doesn't have. The only Champ XL filter I could use would be the smaller PH3614 size, the longer sizes don't fit with the way my filter faces the frame rail. Right now my best bet for the money seems to be the TG16.

The same Champ filter is put into another brand's box (SuperTech) advertising 99%@30 microns but somehow Champ labs filters are 99%@20. I've seen this more than once over the years & there's a glaring discrepancy.

I'd probably go with this over Super Tech.
The only reason is many people think K&N is a premium product while I can see a mechanic reaming an owner over a Super Tech filter...seriously.

I gave away some FS. Super Tech. oil when I sold my truck and the guy I gave it to thought it was crap...duh...but true.

Absolutely
I'd use this filter...you can get deals and it's really clean and looks great.
I'd use ST too but I have seen too many Walmart bashers that have no clue including mechanics...you know.
