Another clean filter off my 2010 Crown Vic. It was in service for about 5k miles with k&n 5w-30 oil. Valvoline restore and protect went back in with a STP s3614xl oil filter. Car currently has 145k miles.

Filter seems to be made very well, however, I will not ever use one again on this application. The nut on the end that they put on for easy removal makes it a pain in the butt to get off cause there is hardly any room to get it on and off. Probably would have been better if I actually had a wrench that fit the nut, but I rather not deal with it anymore.

Worked well for the mileage & media looks real clean too. Don't blame you for the nut issue. I've never run one of those as everyone I've found for anyone of my applications were always severely overpriced. I can tell the ol' Crown Vic is a southern car. Nice & clean.

Autozone was running a special, which was the only reason I tried it out with the oil. The Vic is a well taken care of example out of Jefferson Parish LA.
