Just put Mobil 1 0w30 ESP in my 2021 3.6L Pentastar

I’ve ran Pennzoil Ultra/Platinum 0w20 since factory fill. Just hit 73k and needed an oil change. In my last UOA post, Mobil 1 0w30 ESP was highly recommended, and the store was out of 0w20 PUP, so I decided to give it a go. I’m doing a little reading about it and found ESP doesn’t have the required MS-6395 rating! Or any API certification for that matter!
Is that anything to be worried about?

I edited the post for more clarity. Thanks!
It meets API SP requirements

Been running M1 EP 5w/30 in 2 Pentastars with great results - '14 Grand Cherokee (172k miles) and a '20 Gladiator (71k miles). Thicker is better in these especially since the were originally spec'd as 5w/30...then they went to 20wt on the same motor so 30wt it is for me. You will be fine with the 0w/30 and I have used that as well off and on - good choice.

That’s odd… so it MEETS API requirements, but it doesn’t actually have API certification….?
Nope. Mobil probably felt they didn't need formal API certification, since that's not the target audience, so why bother paying the license fee. It's marketed as a euro oil, where API doesn't matter. But they are self-certifying that they tested this oil to the API SP engine test requirements.

Took a 40 mile round trip to town with the ESP. I noticed engine idle was quieter and, dare I say… smoother? Also seems like I lost a tiny bit of fuel economy, but I will need to drive more to see.

No noticeable changes to oil pressure across the RPM range, but these PentaStar electronically controlled 2 stage oil pumps work pretty dang well.

Absolutely irrelevant for what this oil is made.
This oil is targeted for Euro engines/approvals. Euro approvals far exceed anything API, and most important ones, MB229.51/52, VW504.00/507.00 exceed Fiat/Chrysler approvals.
Oil is on thicker side, with min HTHS of 3.5, so you might see theoretical increase in consumption.

What? Thick increases consumption?
