Our local Toyota dealer had no RAV4's, used or new, to even test drive, so my parents ended up with a 1 yr old CRV hybrid, as our local Honda dealer has a 3/4 full lot. My manager also went with the CRV hybrid for the same reason, she could test drive one and get one off the lot.
Yep, I think timing the RAM new/old model market is one of the cheapest ways to own almost any new vehicle, my Dad just traded in his 2018 Ram 1500 (lower trim but a nice quiet comfortable hwy driver) for 75% of what he paid. Just wait until the old model is 30+% off, buy it, and then resell in 5-8 years, as at that point, a simple clean lower trim truck is almost a selling feature and its ~40% the price of the current new truck, but basically drives the same....Looks like it’s time to negotiate a good price on a Land Rover or Ram…
