Yea them and some other re-builder are doing so poorly now I went with a Chinese new rack than a remain OE one.
A year later and my customer is still happy and no leaks. I rather support American jobs but low quality is not an option, esp on what it takes to replace many racks.
The American quality argument is a slippery slope that goes real fast. Sure, I still hear folks talk about American cars as low quality (if there are even American cars being made anymore, are they all trucks and SUVs and where do the parts actually come from. Even if assembled here. But anyways)and how Japanese cars are perhaps a high standard of quality.. though supposedly Toyota is no longer as such on reliability. I get that this post is about parts, still though. China may make some quality things, not talking about cheap tools vs SK or anything like that but
Perhaps we should explore the China quality aspect.
American manufacturing has always been something we need to happen, what is with dragging down the
every chance we get !!
