This was on a John Deere 4700, it has 3310 hours. Ran this for 150 hours on Delo 400 15W40.

Put a Wix 51064 on and filled with Delo 400 XLE 10W30 to try. I opt'd for the Wix filter because I don't want to pay $14 for a filter that looks like this... Clearly not worth the money for this style of construction. Wix was $11.

I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the can, but it was clean inside with nothing visible.

Overview, Ignore the spring. Its supposed to be under the bypass, not on top.

Filter looks fine. Yeah, a bit on the expensive side though.

All Fram but I don't remember seeing one with a coil spring before, I wonder if they do that because of the heavy equipment aspect of the application?

Way to much to pay for what is likely a nice orange can although it appears to have done well. I'm thinking the Deere logo is mostly responsible for the price.

Not all Deere filters are Fram, Just the smaller stuff is it seems like. The filters in the larger stuff are more pleasant which are Donaldson's. Hydraulic filters are stamped Donaldson.

If you want the exact same thing but much cheaper just get the Motomaster brand filters. Same as an orange can fram yet 2-3 dollars less.

Looks like the Fram xx3593a or the xx9688 with that base plate. The WIX 51334 should work too. I am running the Napa Silver version in the Kubota G1800.

Definitely looks like a Fram on the inside. The fiber endcaps seem like a dead giveaway. The coil spring is a surprise, but the bypass valve certainly looks like a Fram.

All in all, the filter looks like it's held up well.

That is the same filter as is on my 4310! The $14.00 is the dealer ripping you a new one.Over the years some of the same filters have been the Ecore variety.
