Jegs PCV Oil Separator

Just got done installing a Jegs oil "catch can" separator on the PCV line on my 2013 Silverado 5.3L. Real easy job that took me all of about 20 minutes. Hopefully will do a great job at keeping the oily junk from going into the intake manifold while still letting the gasses to get thru.

If i had a DI engine, i'd try one of these.

They work, that's for sure. Most people won't spend the money or take the trouble to install it or service it. How effective they are is up to you. If you have an older care with a bit of blow by its really effective in keeping carbon build up on the pistons and valves. Just make sure it does not leak. Then send in pictures of the gunk you collect. BITOG people what to know.

From other user stuff I have seen, this unit should catch a lot of oily junk. I will be interested how it really does. I will post pics of results in future for sure.
