Jeep JKU filter?

Used the Fram XG in my '04 TJ. So far on free changes from dealer on my JK, so Mopar. Both good filters.

How long are your oil change intervals and which one is cheaper? Both are good filters. I tend to lean towards OEM filters for cartridge style applications just because of the subtle differences often found between aftermarket filters, and the wrong size can get crushed. Sounds like the Fram works well though, so I'd pick whichever one is easier/cheaper to run.

Thanks. A lot of those issues can be blamed on over tightening the oil cap. I checked the valley, nice and dry.

My dealer parts dept gives pretty good parts discounts to customers, so I will stay Mopar.

I'd suggest the WIx XP/Napa platinum

I've had great luck with Mopar filters in the past.
I've primarily used them on two of ours Jeeps with the 4.0 for the last 60,000 miles (each), and my Grand Wagoneer is now using a Mopar filter after I had some trouble with dry startups using Wix.

I'd run Mopar.

I've tried a few brands on my brothers JK and while they were all good enough, the Mopar definitely held up the best with the least amount of wave.
