Motomaster/Champ Pentastar oil filter

So, upon further, non vehicle specific searches, Cambodian Tire carries the Mopar MO-349 filter. Their site states it is not compatible with the 2021 Grand Caravan or even my 2021 Grand Cherokee L. Part Source (first site that popped up during search) shows it is the proper filter.

I know they've fallen out of favour around here of late but the FRAM CH11665 has done well for me for the last 12yrs in the ole Pentastar.

The website is a crapshoot the Co-Star software in store (while not perfect) is generally alot better.

I also find partsource to have a better website accuracy wise and usually if Canadian Tire carries the item the SKU (usually xxx-xxxx) is the same since they are all the same company.

This is what I run in my Jeep Pentastar.

I only have a few Fram Ultras left and the last one from Summit I ordered alongside a bunch of hammers. Not the smartest thing I've ever done to get free shipping.

I’ve ran the Champ P1009XL several times, always came out pretty good. Some got the small twist, some didn’t. Ran many Wix, Fram, Mopar OE, a few Supertech, Baldwin and Premium Guard over the years.

None of them ever tore or separated. You’ll be fine when running a normal change interval. I wouldn’t overthink it too much.

So I took a trip down to Cambodian Tire to snag a filter. So, the possibly Champ made OEMPlus filters we're sold out. My local store has a large stock of Wix now, the cross was made in SE Asia, now forgetting but possibly Vietnam.

I picked up the Mopar filter, with the only COO being the US on the box.
