Jeep 3.6L 20.5k mi; RL 0w-20 1.9k mi

Really appreciate all the comments. Nobody has touched my Jeep. I do everything on it. Air filter was clean and the box properly closed. Oil has been changed multiple times before. I did a UOA before and things looked normal for the mileage. I was using Pennzoil at the time.
I am starting to blame the quality of this pump. Those hoses must have been full of dirt already. Oil is too expensive to drain at such low interval so this pump was the only way.

Gotta be the pump, line, etc.

What about the high oxidation? I was expecting the viscosity to drop below 9.0 cSt after all the hard driving and heat. I should've done a VOA like suggested here.

Red Line uses a very good base oil with higher oxidation than most oils. This shows up as having a high oxidation reading but rest assured you are using a very good oil from what I've seen with RL products.

Thanks. But I think I am done with it. I am looking into an affordable and easily accessible 5W30.

If you looking for a easy to get and affordable 5w-30 just go to Walmart and pick something like , PUP or Valvoline EP or even Castrol Edge, are good choices to start with among the many other oils offered there, try looking at some past threads and determine what best suits your vehicle and needs and check out filters like Fran ultra. oci plays a good part in this also.

I found the best oil for my lil Jeep. AFE 0W-30, looks like PUP but 0W-30. Only $24 at Walmart, perfect for my 3000 mile OCI 🤩

A fellow member here uses it in a 2.7L turbocharged Bronco. The UOA's look great.
