Well folks I dont really put too much personal stuff out online but I guess I finally need to let things out. I've been blessed in my life to be around some of the most awsome people. If your a friend or family member I've got your back, whenever you need somethin,I've got your back. I woke up to a text today from someone who needed my help/support. I've been there for them all the way through. This morning I read this text and it says, things got bad,I had to get out. I dont know where they went, nothing. I've tried to call,no-one picks up. I guess sometimes in life its the best thing in the world to have a giving heart/personality but at the same time it's a curse. In closing, always be there for someone, your friends, family, whatever. If things go wrong, let someone know whats going on because the not knowing isnt a fun thing to go through.

Someone you know and love texted you, "things have gone wrong and I have to get out" (paraphrasing).

And now you feel weirded out because you cannot communicate with them?

I'd assume we all know a person can be "generous to a fault". Also, we can do favors for and be available to people who don't appreciate or deserve it.

Is this what you're talking about? To be frank, your initial post was notably incomplete. Pleas clarify to the extent you can.

It is either a) the person totally left there town and is who knows where or... b) this person could very well be on a edge of taking themselves right out of here.

Either option is not good. But one is obviously a really tough circumstance. I've been there done that with a very good friend of mine. My friend took an overdose of insulin. He did live for about a week afterwards. But it did a whole lot of damage to his brain due to such low glucose levels. I suspect he got pneumonia from being on a ventilator for a prolonged period of time. That ultimately took him out. That whole deal is still very hard for me to this day.

To the op here... Don't change a bit. Stay who you are. It is a good thing being who you are.

Has far as this deal does with your friend... If you know their family.. get in contact with them. Let them know what's going on. And proceed from there. Take care of yourself man.

Used to be like that, friends = family and vice versa. Not anymore. Both friends and family have been determined to put in "an inordinate amount of effort" into willfully hurting me and sabotaging our relationship.

Now the rule is "don't get too close to people, they'll absolutely betray you and/or turn their back on you the instant your acquaintance becomes inconvenient or no longer necessary, no matter how close you've been or how long you've known them".

You do care too much imo and that's really nice for other people, but it can take a toll on you- a toll the benefactors all too often couldn't care less about.

Not too big a heart, kudos to you. As for your disappearing friend, send them a "Godspeed" text and wait for them to contact you down the road a bit, and go on with your life.
