Many movies were filmed near where I live. It came from outer space was filmed around the corner from my house in 1953.

One day I was driving home and realized that something looked familiar. So Tonight I went back and did a then and now shot.

Got as close to the location as I felt I could without people thinking I'm a creeper.

As far as you are out of L.A., It's well within the scope of movie locations for Hollywood.

ya. back then it stopped. Now it goes to a radio tower then back down.It goes along the lower edge where the fault is. The pics are looking south . The road goes up to the tower then goes down on the east.There is another way to get to the top of the mountain.

The red line is where the fault runs. Its what pushed up the mountain. I shuda been a geologist...
