I would consider it an OAT, a Dexclone, because of the 2-EHA inhibitor.
There are NOATs with 2-EHA. It was my impression that those are not compatible with OATs. Am I incorrect?

But I agree, the ST AMAM is probably a knockoff of Prestone AMAM...OAT with 2 EHA. In that case, it's dexcool without the royalties paid.

I'm fairly certain that's a generic AMAM OAT Dexclone coolant that would work fine in almost all vehicles if properly flushed of all old coolant. It would be fine to add to a GM or foreign vehicle that came with a Dexcool 2-EHA coolant for TOP UP but may cause issues in a vehicle that came with something else like G-05 for TOP UP (mixing different chemical make-ups).

I base this opinion on knowing many people who used AMAM Dexclones in Hondas, Toyotas, Mitsubishies etc...without issues after a full flush. I wouldn't use a Dexcool/Dexclone in any older vehicle made before seals/ gaskets were upgraded to those impervious to the 'plasticizer' affects of 2-EHA.
