How sad is it that when I read the thread title I knew they were Michelin tires before I even clicked. Every Michelin I have had has cracked like that. I don't buy Michelin tires anymore

I noticed that about Michelins too. But they really are the smoothest riding and longest lasting in my opinion/experience

My neighbor's Pirelli Scorpion Verde II+ are even worse than any Michelin's - these are less than 3 years old:

His other vehicle wears a set of Defender LTX's - those are older and do not display this amount of weathering.
