Wrong. New French President Nicolas Sarkosy UMP is right wing. Doesn't anybody do some research before posting??

With respect, I disagree with your statements concerning the French. America would not exist if France had not helped us out during the revolutionary war. I realize that we reciprocated during WWII. Someone once told me that the true measure of friendship was being able to let someone know when they are about to mess up. This is exactly what the French tried to do before we got involved in this mess called Iraq. I am not crazy about the Democratic party, and actually subscribe more often to Republican values, but look at what "W" has done for us. We are loathed in a lot of places and I don't feel safer than pre-9/11, quite the contrary actually. France has government provided health coverage for all of its citizens. The life expectancy of the French is better than ours for heavens sake. The infant mortality rate in France is lower as well. Perhaps this is because the insurance and drug companies are not so powerful there. I bet that you will not see a drug commercial every 5 minutes on French TV. Many people in France only work 35 hours per week, which as I understand it is their standard work schedule. America has a lot going for it, but we have gotten off the path to some degree. Too much debt and too much influence driving our government right now. JMHO

You want to talk about ---- websites and claim the US is better? Try looking for platform specific product info on the Endless/Zeal USA website (Japanese brake/suspension company). Which pot-smoking blogger created that garbage? The old website and the Japanese and European sites have more info and are logically navigable.
