Is The Dark Knight still the GOAT comic book movie?

To me it definitely is. It elevate the whole Super Hero franchise from just mindless fights to something that makes you think deeply about what it really means to be good vs evil, and the human natures of it all.

Deadpool.
Have to admit, after watching the Deadpool two movies, we have been watching X Men series.

But we keep remarking “lazy writing!”

Heath Ledger FTW. Never read a comic book, but he was epic.

Was it ever?

Perhaps not for the entire genre being that the comics have flown in different directions over the decades in order to remain fresh so movie directors/writers will pull bits and pieces to fit their unique vision. What makes a movie the GOAT? Is it the depth of character development? Adherence to cannon? Degree of realism? I don't know.

Batman Begins is the best origin story because it's the only origin story done as a movie. The Nolan series in general was very good with regards to "enhanced realism" and "the suspension of disbelief". The Batman falls in that category as well.

I dunno. It just kind of annoyed me. An Australian attempting to do a Minnesotan as Joker.

It was extremely disturbing, but I thought that Joker was better than The Dark Knight.

If it disturbed you that much-it's shows what kind of a job he did.

Avengers movies all the way....Hulk Fan

My favorite was Captain America: The Winter Soldier. No Hulk though. But you have to suspend disbelief obviously. I mean - somehow Hydra can come up with dozens of fake DC Metro Police vehicles and fake cops on short notice to try and take out Nick Fury. I mean - where does anyone manage to hide all this stuff in a place as crowed as DC?

And this scene from The Avengers (at a shawarma place) was pretty fun. It was filmed well after the rest of the filming had concluded and Chris Evans had facial hair for another movie. So that's why he's covering it up by putting his chin on his hand and not otherwise moving.

Agree-EXCEPT Nolan Trilogy are the best DC movies I have ever seen! Speaking as a fairly big Avengers saga & Deadpool fan.

I didnt see the first one but the second and third were definitely great!

But I'm a simple man. I see explosions, I hit like lol.
