Is "Summit" oil any good?

I had some Reward money from Ford to use up, and decided to get some oil. On the phone they told me they had Total synthetic.
I thought it was kinda weird that they didn't use Motorcraft. But didn't care if it was Total since it was basically free.

When I looked in the box at home, it was "Summit" brand synthetic. Search here showed no results for Summit.
Has anybody heard of it?
Is it any good?
Seems like it is re-branded from some other source. Maybe Total?
Doesn't have API Star, or any certifications. Only "exceeds the requirement of...."

Would you use it?

May have to donate this for my dad's old 96 Ranger.

I have no way of knowing, which is frustrating. I figured it was Total since the sticker in the window has Total right on it.
Only allowed dealer to do this OCI because I had some "free" money to burn there. Back to doing my own after this!

Specs look pretty good, but it is hard to figure out who makes it.

That appears to be a custom labeling of a high quality oil. Found that out by googling Rilco, Rock Island....nice website.

I have no idea how you found that.

I googled the heck out of RILCO, Summit, you name it. And clicked on every link I could find on the RILCO website.

This is from their website:

It could be made by any of them.

I think the lack of a 'Starburst' is a mistake and that it's a very good oil based on the fact that it meets HT0-06, dexos1 and other high standards.

Summit is under WARREN OIL COMPANY INC's API license. It is API SN GF-5 resource conserving in the 5W30 grade certified.

How can a 5w30 (common grade) carry various manufacturer approvals, but not have the starburst?

The lack of API symbol and no listing on API site, and especially no mention of "summit" in a search of BITOG, made me worry.
I am more confident in the quality of it after your info.

It has the license it seems they just did not bother to print it on the bottle.
