Looking to replace the 11 year old TPMS sensors in a 2015 F350.

Doing some hasty research, some information suggests Schrader is the OE for Ford truck TPMS in 2015. When I look at the pictures, the Schrader and Ford sensors look different. Supplementally, Amazon sells the Ford sensors much lower than RockAuto, but I will avoid the Amazon product for counterfeit reasons.

Additionally, ChatGPT states a 2014 Super Duty TPMS will work in a 2015 Super Duty. The sensors are at different frequencies (except DWR), and I think CHATGPT is not accurate.

Any information to support/ not support Schrader is the OE for Ford 2015 TPMS sensors?

Had to get one replaced three months ago by Discount Tire. $65 or so out the door. No idea what brand but is doing fine. Always paid to have someone else break open tire and replace valve stems, etc anyway. Will be replacing one more non-functional TPMS when we replace a pair of older tires on the 2015 F150. No issues so far.

Too hard to determine without actually looking at the sensors on the truck. There were several different OEMs in 2015 across all vehicle manufacturers, including Schrader, Continental/VDO, and others.

Is your OE sensor a rubber-stem or a metal-sleeved clamp-in? Most of the OEMs I've seen on Fords were the latter:

Good call on avoiding that Amazon "Motorcraft" part. It's likely as legit as a 3-dollar bill.

I think what matters is the frequency the sensor operates at. As long as it matches what the vehicle communicates on, it will work.

To a point. If he wants to get another 11-year run from new sensors it's best to get a quality product instead of some Chinese knock-offs from Amazon or ebay.

Schrader does manufacture the OEM TPMS sending unit for your 2015 F-350 Super Duty pickup truck that is sold as Motorcraft TPMS 12. The Schrader 29020 sold by Rockauto is their aftermarket universal "EZ" sensor that has been pre-programmed to the 315 Mhz frequency for your application. Both should fit and perform identically as the lifespan is mostly determined by the freshness of the embedded coin cell battery. If you insist on the identical OEM parts, the Schrader part number is 20315 which is identical to Motorcraft TPMS-12 (9L3Z-1A189-A).

Need to do this on my 2011 but not loving the $265 at discount tire. Are the aftermarket sensors good or you get what you pay for?
WalMart tire and lube centers will install a Bartec brand TPMS replacement, re-balance your tire and reprogram the TPMS system for $28.88 plus local tax. Bartec is a respected brand and not a cheap eBay knockoff. The only limitation is that WalMarts don't offer the metal valve stem option, only rubber.

Call them and ask if they'll install TPMS that you supply. They did for me a number of years ago - I bought VDO sensors and the local store did it for $15-20/wheel. Your example of using their Bartec supplied sensor is cheaper still though.
