Someone posted the copy of the TSB. I have run various 5w 0w 10w30 oils and a couple of 5w-20s in a 2006 Toyopa 4 cyl Truck and the difference in anything isn't worth the effort it takes to think about the precieved difference in the oils especially in Fla. climate

I don't mean to be an idiot, but I can't help myself...

A google search took 0.24 seconds to find the answer.

Google eg018-06 to see the TSB.

Or, I can just tell you that you can run 5w20 OR 0w20 in that engine. If I'm reading the TSB correctly, 0w20 was factory fill starting in 2006.

Oh ok, thanks rcy. Didnt kno FF was 0w20 when my oil cap says 5w30. Keep in mind that in 06, Scions were only available in USA. With the info u gave me I dont think I can trust your search, lol, but thx for trying.

Huh? Just google the TSB # I listed and read the TSB yourself.

*edit* better yet, I see someone posted a link to the TSB

What I'd like to know is how different the same engine is country to country, I have an 2AZ-FE and by rights it should be near identical to the US versions (it's built in Japan) - wouldn't mind giving 5w-20 a go!
