Is Mr Funnel worth it?

I don't use my Kubota tractor often so I don't need much fuel for it and usually fill up with 5 gallon jugs. Should I use a Mr Funnel or similar to fuel up? Will a Mr Funnel sit on the fuel fill spout by itself to allow me both hands on the 5 gallon jug? It's a M5040 cab with the fill neck and the front corner of the cab. Not sure I could hold the funnel with 1 hand and dump 5 gallons with the other.

Its probably time to think of different logistics.

I rotate out a few 55 gallon drums and use a hand crank pump. I already bought hoses and a gas station style hand pump when I decide to add an electric pump.

They also make gas cans that have two handles so make it easier to pour. One on top, one on the side.

Also consider filling your cans with only 2-3 gallons at a time. My elderly mom had me do this the past few years until I took over gassing her Gator a few months ago.

Are you saying the Funnel is a good idea, but I will likely need to hold it with 1 hand?

I have no idea if Mr Funnel works, but if it works for you, come back and share the info. Its a shot in the dark if someone here uses it too, but we'll see over time if someone responds.

Are you using the one with the filter? I was actually thinking about using it myself.

Growing up on the farm we always used Mr. Funnel for diesel. Yes it will pull out water. If your getting it for the filter properties then yes, use it. If your unable to hold it I am sure you can rig up something - maybe with some sort of closed cell foam cut to fit.

I also suggest sticking with Mr. Funnel instead of the knock off - because we know Mr. Funnel works.

Never used it much on gasoline. I don't know why. I believe gasoline can tolerate a little moisture more than a diesel can - maybe?

Now if your looking for the easiest to pour can, its this one. A wavian (nato can) with the flex spout.

John Deere really screwed the pooch with their new easy gas tanks on the Z320m! No level gauge so you have to look at the tank to see the level. But they don't dye the gas here so it's the same color as the tank. Holds 3 gallons but the last half gallon is a slow gurgle, nearly 4 gallons can be crammed in. But the filler tube is at an angle and then kinked about two inches down so a straight funnel will not work.
