I can get this at either my local Napa or VW parts shop. What do you guys think of it?

Here is the Data sheet.

Or would their Valve Clean be a better fuel system cleaner.

I have not used it, I would suppose its as good as techron, mmo, regane, seafoam, shell v power cleaner, b-12, and on and on, I just use MMO now and maybe some stabil with it, works for me. I thought about going to a shop and asking for some old valves and pour my stuff on them to see what happen overnite in a pan.

I have used both and I like them. This one has a long history and many German marques have been using it for years. Before NAPA started carrying them, the price used to be premium.

Forget the MSDS; most of them no longer list PEA. If you want to go by the published MSDS, 3M has one which has the highest concentration of PEA.

The only trouble is that my NAPA does not stock it, so I have to special order it. Every saturday, I pick up a set and order another one :-) I am stocking them up. I know the cheap price will not lost long. Their version of total system cleaner is way expensive.

+1 not even close. PI and sl-1 are in a league of their own.

I just emailed Lubro-Moly. I asked them if the Jectron has PEA in it. They are a very well runned company. The Owner even emailed me back when I asked about their 5W-40 oil. Stay tuned.

I never unstood the point of having multiple levels of fuel system cleaner type products. That tends to drive me to brands which only have one level of additive. E.g techron, lucas etc.

Techron has a variety of levels.

Different price point and grabbing as much shelf space as possible; marketing 101; why so many cereal or laundry detergent? same concept!

Some fuel injector cleaners will increase combustion chamber deposits due to chemistry. This is well documented by the additive industry. Because of this i like to only use single products meant to clean injectors, valves, and piston tops (everything).

If its the combustion chamber and intake paths you want
to clean..use mopar combustion chamber cleaner.
Its sparyed like a foam through the intake and wery effective.
Read and follow the instructions!
