I didn't realize they were e core units till I found out on this website.

I figure I'd use it for 2,000 miles then change my oil and filter. It's in my performance car too which is a Lexus SC300 with a Supra Twin Turbo engine swap.

With all that money spent in the 2JZ why not use a Toyota filter, and stay away from Super Tech E cores

and its not ok to use Super Tech filter on a motor that sweet. Have any pictures of the engine?

Probably but I would buy a better filter for that engine just because. That is a great engine , I'll bet you have you have no problem getting up to freeway speed

There are some engines you have to worship for how good they are and that in one of the engines.

Yea, I have a Purolator Pure one filter waiting to go in as soon as the escrap comes out. I just want it to last for 2,000 miles at least because I just changed the oil and filter about 400 miles ago. Here's a picture of my beast.

Yea, but that would be a waste of $3.00 that I paid for the escrap.

I want people to give me some reassurance that it'll last at least 2k miles.

Champ might say since the engine isn't for the car it's in they won't cover it.

Can you fit a FL1a in there? That would filter like nobody's business.

Roll the dice for $3 ... ???

Guess you haven't seen the photos of blown out escrape filter media through the center cage.

Dude.. change the filter. I'm offended that you even asked the question after seeing the beautiful pics of that engine. Do your research and get the best quality high flow filter you can find.

All the work done to get that engine in there, I wouldn't think twice about putting a quality filter on there.

I don't mind running cheap ones on my cars, but I'm not driving a twin-turbo Lexus.

Ok, you guys win. I'll swap out that e scrap for the Purolator tomorrow.

I'll have pictures of a 400 mile e scrap as well. It should still look brand new.

Looking forward to it! There's a 99% chance it looks good and a 1% chance it's missing some media that's stuck inside your oil passages

How long have you been using e scraps? You're the only advocating the use of this filter so far.
