Is calcium sulfonate grease OK for poly bushings?

Would there be any potential problem using this on polyurethane bushings in automotive suspension applications?

Yes, I did several searches but couldn't find this answer - hope I'm not rehashing an old subject.

I'd suggest asking Amsoil, they should be able to give you a technically correct answer. Having said that though I can't imagine the lubricant being a problem for polyurethane.

Had an issue with calcium grease many, many years back swelling poly bushings in trailer brake S-cams causing the brakes to release slow and drag. I don't think it was widespread, the end result answer we got was it was a specific to the particular poly formula in the bushings. We switched back to lithium based grease and problem went away.

I used the Energy Suspension silicone based grease on my poly bushings.. I used regular wheel bearing grease on them at first, but after about 3k miles, or about two months they started squeaking pretty bad. Switched over to the energy suspension grease they stayed quiet for me.. Like 30k on them without a single noise.
