Is BITOG Even Necessary Any More?

I'm fairly certain, from what I've seen so far, if I use SuperTech Synthetic and change it every 5,000 miles... that I'll never need anything different as far as oil.
You'll just never understand the finer things in life...

BITOG became unnecessary with Pennzoil Yellow Bottle. Oh! Sorry. With German Castrol. Ooops again! With 0W-30 ESP. Uh, sorry wrong again. It became unnecessary with HPL. Or was that Amsoil?
When did development and innovation end?
I forgot about those topics from the past. Thanks for not helping my oil related trauma...

About 60% of the literary excellence we read here is hokum.

hokum
/ˈhōkəm/
H-O-K-U-M is a noun that generally means nonsense, claptrap, or deceptive material. [1]
Yes I come here for 50/ educational and 50/ for the comics.

After recent lurking, and receiving replies on my own views and opinions on the forums, I'm just curious if we even need BITOG any more now that we have Valvoline Restore and Protect? Seems like, to quite a few, the debate is settled. Always use Valvoline Restore and Protect. That's it. Final answer. Any other answer and you're a dufus.

Humorous thoughts only, please...
12 years ago it was pennzoil yellow bottle for everything.

Everyone needs to immediately drain your oil and buy Valvoline Restore and Protect so your engines will last forever. Who cares about the rest of the car just send it.
