How many of those drivers were in as good of equipment as her and did not get tied up in accidents? Her teammate almost beat her on a car with three wheels.
There are more qualified drivers who aren't in IndyCars that could drive circles around her right now. She's never actually won a car race at any point in her career.
Andrew Ranger is driving stock cars in Canada right now, but he's not a woman, so he doesn't have a ride. I bet he could drive circles around her, and if he didn't he wouldn't have a temper tantrum on national TV. In the same equipment, of course.
Don't give me that "nobody here could outdrive her" argument because it's not about that, it's about the fact that the only reason she is in as good of equipment as she is, is simply that she is female. Any male driver with her record to this point would be long gone and forgotten.
I have no problem with women drivers but they should get to where they are on merit not marketing. The fun thing will be rookie Hideki Mutoh on the same team as her, no experience, and her with the experience and tenure on the team, seeing how they compare at the end of the season. I think she will have his number over the course of the season but seeing how they compare will be interesting.
Mutoh had a DNF. Another one is Ed Carpenter beating her last night, Carpenter is not exactly a highly regarded driver in highly regarded equipment and he finished where he did starting at the tail of the field.
