I have been on 17.6 for over 12 minutes now.
That’s a good thing apple is diligent at keeping their older devices safe16 and 15 received security updates as well, for those still rockin' the iPhone 6S, OG SE, and OG iPad Pro.
Did my Watch 9 and iPhone 13 last night, all good.Installed 17.6 last night. Running like a champ.
2 days ago. Same day as IOS18. Someone try IOS18 on an iPhone 11 and let me know how it runs!17.7 is downloading, not sure when it came out
Im curious too for our 13's. Either way, I have learned and will wait (maybe) for another update 18.1 or higher. It shouldn't be too long.2 days ago. Same day as IOS18. Someone try IOS18 on an iPhone 11 and let me know how it runs!![]()

I’m on my 2nd day of iOS 18 on my recently acquired 13 no ill effects to report at this time. If I’m not mistaken 18 was a beta test for sometime there’s always bug fixes and security patches but maybe the big quirks were worked out before the public release.Im curious too for our 13's. Either way, I have learned and will wait (maybe) for another update 18.1 or higher. It shouldn't be too long.

Does 17.7 support RCS17.7 was released simultaneously with 18, and provides security patches to accommodate users who don't want to immediately update to 18.
Be careful, though, because there are reports of inconsistency during the OTA update process where some actually receive 18 instead, and some see different options being given between 17.7 and 18, or one or the other. The 18 update for the latest M4 iPads Pro was pulled because of failed update attempts.
18 won't be feature complete (with the AI stuff) until 18.2 or later, so unless there is some compelling reason in 18.0 to update, waiting is an option.
