She has a gold account and it should be $8.95, but there is this:

"An additional $.01 per share and $.005 is charged for each share over 1000 for Gold and Platinum, respectively."

I just log on and trade for her, per her wishes. I took over after my BIL wiped the account out and my wife now has power or attorney and such.

this AM, I covered financial shorts started at the fed anouncement high and went long miners again (100% allocation). Would make more money if I didn't sell miners in the first place. My game plan is the end of 2010 script, ie end of nov 2010 = now. Lets see how it plays out this time.

I'm looking to go 100% cash if the market keeps acting like it is. I only have 2 positions. We got a distribution day yesterday. Europe/Spain all over again. Just as quickly as the risk on trade happened, it's reversing into treasuries, utilities, consumer staples etc. SPY broke the lower trend channel line from June today; if it can't hold on to it, we may have further downside. Apple is leading the way down. It has a major support trendline from early this year; if it breaks that, it will be a major trend reversal.

Looks like a opportunity waiting game.

Yeah, it really took a dump. Still, bear raid or something else? Its interesting to watch the way these speculative things behave. My ARNA took a real dump in a bear raid before it rose a ton. Maybe there is a good entry point someplace here, or do you think someone knows something?

Phew. OK I'm back.

I'll say. That dog died. Maybe the same for VRNG All the fleas running from the dead critter. Need to find when the next announcement is. It really does run the "excitement" wave. Who knows where the trough bottom is?

Generally kicked butt today.

BBN was my conservative bet. It's just chugging along just fine.
