This was posted on Aug 15. I bought GE that day but unfortunately didn't buy GLW. It's been consolidating for the last few days, and looks like it's set for a higher breakout....???
I sold GLW at 14 last year, and missed the run-up to 30.
A couple more trades like that and I'll be even for the month.
Mostly looking for them to start talking about "particulate" filters.

No one every talks about this, mostly it's the optic cable or the LCD TV. But I think the Diesel emmissions market could be the largest of the all.
In the next 5 years you will see a 50% increase in diesels in the USA, this includes passenger cars and smaller pickups.
Mark my words.

Let's see what it did today. The company is truly international. Not being included in the Hang Seng - won't make earnings better or worse. Foxconn (Foxlink) is replacing them - that is a sick joke. What a crooked outfit that is! I visited them many, many times over the years.

Down a nickel. Don't think the average ADR holder gives a hoot, OMG 1. Let's watch HK trading overtonight. Had a nice upward trend just starting. I don't trust HK that much any more.

Today was another lucrative winner.
P, I'm impressed. You have been ringing the cash register all summer in this so-so market.
Gold fund was unchanged and India fund was off 0.03$ and one Nat Gas fund was down (threw a dividend). Everything else was up.
At one point I was up 16.5% ytd, earlier this month I was ~4% in the red, today I finished just under 5% in the green. Talk about a rolly coaster month. That 2k screwup really hurt the bottom line. Oh ya, I had some of those day trades that went bad. I keep finding ways to lose money.....
