Investors....come in please!

I'm probably very near my all time high. I'll know tomorrow AM. Trust me it's a nasty calculation. Individual bonds, the day's activity, etc.

My bond funds have gone insane.

One gas fund was up, the other down a hair. Gold fund up. Stock funds on fire. GE on steriods.

GE looking good, GLW really took off. TMA up a little more today.

Really close, probably within $5K from the 5/9/06 high.

GLW looking OK. I thought TMA might retrace today but was up indeed.

GE's chart looks good; looks like the start of an upward trend. A brokerage (Prudential?) gave it a buy recommendation today with a target of 41.

Ha ha, Pablo we could probably use your portfolio as a proxy for the market; if you're doing good, then maybe we should follow your lead.... Congrats on reaching your high with the markets well below theirs.

I've found myself buying against my better judgement this week. The Metastock program is showing more buys than I've seen in several months. Could very well be a dead cat bounce....

Suck thing is I didn't look at my graph this AM. I entered the number (didn't break the high) - but without looking at the barrier line....

My goal is not to proxy, but to beat. I feel good to be up over 10% this year, my dad says I'm taking too much risk, but he is not looking through my eyes. His saying:

Since I put $38,000 in a new account in the Vanguard Mid-Cap Index Fund on Monday of this week, the account has risen, as of the end of yesterday, to $38,570.96. I'd been waiting the past few weeks to invest when the share value was low. Guess I picked the right time. The share value is now at its highest point in the past few weeks.

j/k I hadn't metered my mid-cap funds for this week - I'll check.

jmac - check the week for FMCSX. It was up 4.19% this week. Yours was about 1.5%.

I keep waiting for the other boot to drop.

btw - LNVGY has been kicking butt finally. Up on the DELL bad news.
