If anyone thinks Tesla is a good investment you would think it would be time to buy now that it’s stock has been slashed 50% in the past year and now approaching a two year low if it continues this trend.
Definitely not a stock for me but what do I know?
Buyback time? That's my guess. Who the heck knows?

Yes, the rumors are starting and the pressure building for action to get the price up.
The buyback numbers are being floated around.
I agree with you, I think maybe that train left the station and it’s hard to stop once those ideas start floating around.
But like you say. Who knows?

Yep ........ just like a loaded spring back in June

Amazon Prime Day last week had noticeably lower sales, people are cutting back on non essential spending.

Eight hours into two-day sale, spending tracked typical day

People are getting smarter on buying useless ****

Consumer defensive spending.

“Do I really need this?”

“Do I absolutely have to have it?”

There are a lot of people that are clueless about the current environment. They just repeat what the media tells them. Some are starting to see the reality.

You know, Im uncertain where "stuff" goes from here. Maybe because I am already set with all the "stuff" in my life and looking to get rid of some of it.
or
the big driver of these seasonal sales were I think electronics?
Again, maybe I am wrong, but electronics are a dime a dozen and cheap as heck when you can walk into a Walmart anytime of the year and walkout with a cheap 75inch TV for $500 and 65 inch for less than $400. Doesnt seem a need for Prime Day anymore, maybe even Black Friday?
Computers ect seem to be the same price all year and the high profile name brand stuff (Apple ect) sells for pretty much the same price except for maybe a free/bee thrown in.
Maybe I sound older now but the big thing for us in many years past was getting cool electronics at great prices, now we are overloaded with them and do not have a need for anymore. One might say, yes, but all the young people now coming into the market need them and I would agree but even they have a lot as prices are so cheap so I wonder if the draw for PrimeDay, Black Friday will weaken over time or at least until there is some new product driver for sales. I just dont see it.

I do find myself, in the supermarket, for fun, I tell my wife, "Ill skip that" this week its my inflation fighter. Goes for other stuff too and we do buy less and our grocery bill I am sure is no more money than it was 6 months ago. I also find even some trickery in pricing in Costco and pass on the product. So yeah think we are in the dont feel like spending as much money mode and our fight against inflation. We still go out to eat at on the weekends and have see large price increases so we narrow our choices to the ones that went up the least and some still quite reasonable (Texas Roadhouse is a stand out) and Bonefish grill still a great meal at a reasonable price, though they have gone up.

Then again, we are in the middle of a new home purchase and buyers home inspector inspecting our home in just a few hours.

Ok, this mornings ramblings ... *L*

Probably, but also I didn’t see any great deals. It’s just a marketing tool with fake markdown numbers now. People are catching on most likely.
EXACTLY. I should have stated that. People aren't buying useless junk for prices that are not anything great.

I saw nothing for a deal.

It's interesting WE pick up on this, but I didn't see much mention in the pop MSM. THAT tells you something.
