I am just happy you didn't say the opposite!I'm about ready to turn you off![]()
If it works for you then do it.I tried longer-term investing and it isn't my game. I'm in two stocks for better gains but I just don't like the roller-coaster ride. To me it isn't worth the drama.
Yesterday premarket I did good and got a bit lucky lowering my then great buy by $7 a share less on PLTR.
That is a tough ride especially with a 1000 shares. Today if it goes up premarket and I can sell to lower my costs I will...
My other stock isn't tanking at all but floating only 5 to 10 cents daily and I was looking for it to return back to a plus of over a $1 a share.
It's slow but I do have a potential of it rising around $1.78 after the smoke clears and at 15k shares that would be nice...
You can never buy PLTR at the lowest possible as it makes new lows and highs daily and wildly.
A great price of $179 is great until an hour later its mid $174s
The quick flips are for me especially in this current market.
Working hard is easy compared to the stock market
Friday after lunch the volume diesIf it works for you then do it.
But there is no vol. S&P only goes up. VIX is at record all time lows.
Other than a couple very short lived pullbacks market only goes up. Until there is a sustained pullback - in time not necessarily value - everyone seems to keep piling in. All aboard for the ride.![]()
53+% are pure passive flows. If you could figure out when they were buying your job would be easier. Clearly not Friday afternoon.Friday after lunch the volume dies
I hate Friday trading...![]()
I agree, my buddy and I were talking about the passive flows last night...53+% are pure passive flows. If you could figure out when they were buying your job would be easier. Clearly not Friday afternoon.
You and me.Finally got this right for a change. Takes a bit of today's sting out - bought yesterday.
Is it time to sell my tech stocks? Maybe hold some cash until the shutdown is over then go BTC ETF for late year liquidity rally?

Convexity is in our favor currently. You and me.
In Fidelity overall, essentially no change, when market is way down.

Taxable? It doesn't drop off a ton exI might sell my BAC/PRB and flip to JPM preferd's that are well below par. Would it make sense to do this before the ex dividend date or after? Or is it a wash?
It will be close...crazy to think it got up this far after the shorting attacks.I'm being greedy and have a limit to sell PLTR at 178 for the day.
will it work?
