I bought several stocks at a discount....anyone else buying

Yup.....after 9:35 AM it's on and after usually a dip ( your 10 AM has been good for me) and later an upswing..
I've got great deals at 3 AM too.

I worked tonight so I can be hands on as I like to be interactive and really don't like setting a buy price because in the flurry it may not be a good deal 30 minutes later....
With TSLA and PLTR when you think you got it at the bottom 2 minutes later you are down $3k

I'm ignoring PLTR right now although I made the most this year off of them... I can't really keep up with more than one volatile stock like those at a time.... fast and furious sometimes

I didn't sell anything. I should have sold my long VIX - it may have peaked last night. Euro and Asia stocks not down that much. I think I will put some limit orders in and hope to catch a bid on open

If extreme fear were driving the market we would be down 20% over the last year, not up 5%.

We really need more fear in US equities is the issue.

If extreme fear were driving the market we would be down 20% over the last year, not up 5%.

We really need more fear in US equities is the issue.

Fear really started with change of government which is Jan 20 to drive that measurement.

I dumped LMT as I victimized it after the contract loss to Boeing because it's a snore... I think I'll check out yesterday's top losers

I guess that is why the market peaked a whole 30 days later.

If we had fear in the market we wouldn;t have a positive MACD and the RSI wouldn't be 50.

Take it to a different thread. We don't want this one shut down.

I start watching right at 9:30 and 9:35 is the hot and heavy danger zone.... but you should watch for atleast an hour or set alarms..Good luck...
