I rolled up to Wendy's today at 3:57 to get rid of my points. I had 4 cars in front of me and I had a mobile order. It took about 35 minutes to get through the line. No escape.

At 3:58 I open my trading app and I avoided Ford all day and I figured I'll get some for tomorrow. Basically bored in line.

Right around 4:24 I checked the market but really didn't want to...
I saw $900 on the table and BAM..
Slapped Ford again.... it did go up but I'll watch it tonight and possible grab it early morning.... Two minutes later I get my food. I love Wendy's now. 😆 🤣

The question is how greedy to get on my VIX long. I will likely sell at least half shortly.

Buy the rumor, sell the news.
Well I dumped 1/3 shortly after posting this, then 1/6 later in the day. Turned out to be the right move. Holding the other half - its really a hedge, but figured was an opportunity to make a few bucks. I'll be a buyer again at $45 (I am using VXX as the proxy)

Bought also yesterday GGB and FEZ. Looking for more deals off-shore for diversification.

Me too :)
fair amount of cash on the side but 50% in Meta and 25% in Amazon, both took a beating but still up 30% in Meta and down 3% in Amazon ... maybe fill in with WMT, would have been nice for short term with GM. Im looking for something short term unless I get scared, then WMT *LOL*

Its been hard focusing on the market, with the stuff I am going though right now - daily treatments most early afternoon. 3 weeks and feeling the effects now.
As @SC Maintenance knew, I play around with GM because I dont feel for short term trades I cant lose. My faith in the company and its CEO and low P/E
I was watching it daily as I normally do, slipped by me today would have been a nice trade. Im not sure long but ... anyway...

I got BLND today at $3 and just flipped it on 16 cents....
5000 shares..

Good easy money....

Serious question, as I am starting to consider "day trading."

Am I reading this correctly, you made 5% (before taxes etc)?

I had one stock (coin) that was at 2,000% and I still have it LOL.

I'm not an investor but a day trader.
I have flipped the same stock like Ford 6x in one day...

I like to be out the same day....
You're talking about a penny stock.
I have made nearly $8000 on a penny stock in one day as a patent came that nobody knew of...

My buddy is a dividend investor
Different strokes.
I find that if you go against your particular winning strategy it often doesn't end well.

Good luck

Special tarrif deals for GM & Ford. Giant shock, special rules for special folks. GM up 7%, F up 5%.

@alarmguy & @Zee09 I hope you own some still / now.
I have a serious mistrust of Ford
They switch it up often and you can become a bag holder in seconds...lol

I was living large off of PLTR and it was an amazing stock... small share amounts like 200 to 600 could load up your pockets quickly.

Right now I am on the sidelines as it's a bit crazy 🤪
