I have the 6mb elite service from AT&T. I'm really far away from the CO, so as anyone knows it's up to 6mb 
So I don't think that's too bad. Plus I see U-verse is now available so I might switch over to that.

Man, you guys make me feel SOOO freakin' slow. But, this is better than the dial-up I've had all my life until a month ago. This is Verizon Wireless Broadband. It takes a USB modem and you can take it anywhere with you, though. We have a laptop, so it's handy, but also, we use it as our main connection at home. Tons better than the dial up we just had, though. Ping is the same, lol, but it games way better than dial up.

The old USB is very slow, so make sure that your cards and ddrivers aren't 20th century.
What do you mean? USB isn't limiting my bandwidth. I wanted USB to use it on my desktop PC's. But, I am getting practically rated speeds.

way better than Verizon DSL - w/ Verizon I was getting 1/2 of my advertised "speed"
