Hi all.

Today i was changing the sparkplugs on my nissan. Took them out on a hot engine. And was planing to let it cool before installing the new ones.

But time went and got in a bit of hurry. Så when i had to install the plugs the engine was still a bit warm but not hot . Maybe 35-40 celcius. I could screw them to bottom by fingers. And tightened them correct torque.

Can i exspect any problems becousw the engine was not exactly cold but a bit warm.? You could hold your finger in the sparkplug hole.

Wish you all a good weekend.

No worries. On a warm day, it would have cooled to 30C, so while it felt "warm" it really was close to cold. The worry would be if you did it with the heads at 90C...

The engine felt warm on the hand. But not hot. But ofcourse the 35-40 celcius is only a guesing. :)

It's fine. Everything is "cold" if you can touch it bare handed in these matters
