My 2012 Civic LX has just about 126k and I was overdue on my routine maintenance in replacing the spark plugs. I'm not an expert on engine condition, but based on how they look I am feeling good about how the engine must be doing. These were the factory plugs (NGK DILZKR7B-11GS). Here is a picture of just one (they all look identical) but I would love to hear any opinions on how they look for 126,000 miles.

They look great....But I would not leave them in more than 100,00...IMO...but they do look great...you have many many more miles ahead...Is that a 1.8 engine????

Yep. The R18Z1 1.8L. If Honda knows anything in the world, it is how to make a good small engine. I typically do 100k for plugs, but this change just fell through the cracks of my mind. I replaced them with Denso's (I only ever use NGK or Denso) but for some odd reason it was really hard to find 4 OEM plugs for less than about $70. I finally managed to land 4 for $35 via Ebay.

The 2.4 was a good one too. I had that one in my 07 Accord..had a little more power...

what ebay seller did you buy from? There are lots of fakes on that site :sneaky:

Rock Auto has them for about $50, and they are legit
