I want to put bench seats across the front. I removed the center console; now there is just a space. Seats are torn up anyways. Want to make it bench.

Looking at bench seats from F-150, F-250, and maybe Tahoe, Suburban, or Durango or Dodge truck.

So, let's say I figure how to un-bolt the seats in the front of the S10. How do the new seats go in? Custom-drilled holes? Please let me know. Thanks!

95 and up interiors look like this:

Mine looks like this: (*Minus the seat covers. And I unbolted the center console; It is no longer there.)

I would like it to look like this:
*This one is in Erie, PA. There are also some that are leather.. The key is CUSTOM FITMENT to S10, I know some cutting may be involved:

A full size truck seat would be too wide and you wont shut the doors.Remember,S10 is a compact,Dakota a mid size, and F/C/K/D/W are full sizers.

Yes, size was a concern.

I am really into the S-10 bench from a pickup. Would then get into the front of my 4-door Blazer. Awesome!

This seat has no backrest adjustment (it just folds forward) and will have very limited f/r travel. That type of one piece bench was only used in regular cab S-10s.

I'd go for a split bench. GM first offered one in the S-Series in 1993, including in 4 door Blazers, which only got buckets before that (standard was vinyl buckets w/ no console on stripped 2 doors). That specific seat was only available for a year in the S-10 and for two years in the Blazer, but if you find one it will be a direct fit and won't look out of place or rigged up. Plus, you get an arm rest and I think cup holders.

Later split benches should work as well, but may require some modification. I'm not sure. They will at least be size correct. Don't bother looking at bench seats from a full size truck. These are narrow trucks.

I don't think they will bolt in. The Bravada has a different track.

couldn't be that hard though. especially compared to the trucks you initially listed. check this out, all things S10, blazer, bravada. it's all covered here.

Are you talking about these?

The other thing I could do is heavily modify that center console to be very low, and add a cushion...
